Dr. Zuelsdorff receives funding to expand STRIDE cohort

Congratulations to Dr. Megan Zuelsdorff and to her mentors, Drs. Ozioma Okonkwo and Carey Gleason, on two recent awards that will fund the expansion of Dr. Zuelsdorff’s Stress and Resilience in Dementia (STRIDE) cohort! In Spring 2018, Dr. Zuelsdorff received a prestigious 3-year Alzheimer’s Association Research Fellowship allowing for priority recruitment of underrepresented African American and rural participants into STRIDE. This October, she received a fundable score on an NIA R03 application that builds upon the Wisconsin ADRC’s partnership with Wisconsin’s tribal communities, and adapts STRIDE for Native American participants.
